Leanne Bazzetta, LCSW: Psychotherapy & Creativity
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and couples in NYC since 2009. I practice privately in Midtown, Manhattan as well as at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in Chelsea where I am a staff therapist for LGBQ, trans, and GNC folks, as well as individuals living with HIV. Prior to working with adult clients, I worked for several years as a therapist with homeless/unstably housed LGBQ, trans, and GNC youth at the Ali Forney Center, and with older-adolescent students within the NYC & Chicago school systems who have complex trauma and/or learning disabilities.
Outside of providing psychotherapy I primarily focus on my work as an illustrator and painter. I utilize art as both my preferred form of self care and my favorite form of creativity.
